1. Company Information:
This website is operated by Varan Fine Jewellery, a UAE-based fine jewellery business ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

2. Scope & Acceptance
These Terms apply to:

  • All orders placed online or remotely
  • All natural and laboratory-grown diamond jewellery
  • All made-to-order, bespoke, and high-value pieces

Placing an order constitutes full acceptance of these Terms without exception.

3. Product Descriptions & Acknowledgement
All images, videos, renders, and descriptions are provided for illustrative purposes only.
You expressly acknowledge that:

  • Natural and lab-grown diamonds may vary in colour, clarity, brilliance, and appearance
  • Carat weights are approximate
  • Metal tones may appear different due to lighting or screen calibration
  • Minor variations in setting or craftsmanship may occur 

These characteristics are inherent to fine jewellery and do not constitute defects.

4. Pricing & Availability
All prices are listed in the displayed currency and may change without notice. Varan Fine Jewellery reserves the right to: 

  • Correct pricing or typographical errors
  • Cancel orders placed due to incorrect pricing
  • Refuse any order at its sole discretion 

Unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout, all customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, and clearance charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

5. Orders, Payment & Verification
Orders are accepted only once full payment has cleared. For high-value or international orders, we reserve the right to: 

  • Request additional identification or documentation
  • Conduct enhanced verification checks
  • Delay or cancel orders suspected of fraud or misuse 

Any chargeback initiated without prior written communication will be formally disputed using delivery confirmation and policy acceptance records.

6. Made-to-Order, Custom & High Jewellery - FINAL SALE
All made-to-order, bespoke, customised, resized, engraved, or high-value jewellery sold by Varan Fine Jewellery is STRICTLY FINAL SALE.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Custom stone sizes, shapes, or colours
  • Fancy coloured diamonds
  • Modular or removable designs
  • One-of-a-kind or high jewellery pieces
  • Natural and laboratory-grown diamond jewellery made to order
  • Once production has commenced:
  • No cancellations are permitted
  • No refunds are issued
  • No exchanges are accepted 

This applies without exception, including a change of mind or subjective dissatisfaction.

7. Production Timelines
Production and delivery timelines are estimates only.
Varan Fine Jewellery is not liable for delays caused by: 

  • Stone sourcing
  • Custom craftsmanship
  • Third-party workshops or suppliers
  • Courier or customs delays
  • Force majeure events

Delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.

8. Delivery, Risk & Title
All shipments are insured until confirmed delivery.
Risk and title transfer to the customer: 

  • Upon delivery to the provided address, or
  • Upon signature by the customer or an authorised recipient
  • Varan Fine Jewellery is not responsible for:
  • Incorrect address details were provided by the customer
  • Courier or customs delays
  • Loss or damage after confirmed delivery 

9. Returns (Exceptional Approval Only)
Returns are not accepted unless explicitly approved in writing by Varan Fine Jewellery. If exceptionally approved: 

  • Items must be unworn, unused, and unaltered
  • All original packaging, certificates, and documentation must be returned
  • Items will undergo independent inspection upon receipt 

Any sign of wear, damage, alteration, or use will void eligibility.
All return shipping, insurance, customs duties, and taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.

10. Certificates, Valuations & Market Value Diamond certificates are issued by independent gemological laboratories.

You acknowledge that: 

  • Certificates describe gemological characteristics only
  • Certificates do not represent resale, insurance, or market value
  • Appraisals are opinions and may vary
  • Market prices fluctuate 

Differences in valuation do not constitute grounds for dispute, refund, or return.

11. Warranty & Care
Fine jewellery is delicate by nature.
We do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage
  • Improper use or storage
  • Third-party repairs or modifications 

Care instructions should be followed to preserve your jewellery.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Varan Fine Jewellery shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
Any liability shall be strictly limited to the original purchase price of the item.

13. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including designs, images, text, and trademarks, is the intellectual property of Varan Fine Jewellery and may not be used without written permission.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE courts.

15. Updates
Varan Fine Jewellery reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on the website.
